ORPHANS AND CHILDREN’S MINISTRIES
RLM provides homes for the orphans by matching and placing orphans and abandoned children with local widows and families in Ludwindja, D.R. Congo. RLM supports he orphans by giving supplemental food monthly to the families, paying school tuition, school supplies, and provides spiritual training, monthly medical, uniforms, underwear, socks, and shoes.
THE NEED: Although Redeeming Love Ministry pays a monthly cost per child for educational tuition, medical care, and food, a thorough analysis of the quality of education, medical care and nutrition received by our RLM children is needed.

HOMES FOR POOR AND WIDOWED
The first two homes were built for a widow and the local pastor and his family in 2014-15 by the Founder/President of RLM.
THE NEED is for the ministry to develop a marketing plan with regular WEBSITE updates that succinctly show the needs of the children for sponsorship and their accomplishments. The website would be a place where SPECIAL PROJECTS, such as, the need for housing and the inexpensive cost to build a home is shown.

GOSPEL TO THE NATIONS
RLM has a partnership with Andrew Wommack Ministries International to bring the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the Democratic Republic of Congo.
THE NEED is to raise the remaining budgeted amount for food for the pastors, and to locate a large facility with a kitchen in Bukavu, D. R. Congo to host the 2018 pastor’s conference.

MICRO ENTERPRISE
RLM received contributions from volunteers to purchase pigs from which many piglets were born. RLM set up guidelines for the children to start businesses to raise and market the pigs. The guidelines included requirements in which the business owners must “give back” piglets as their businesses grow, in order for other enterprising youth to participate.
THE NEED: An assessment of how well the Micro Enterprise project is working, how to expand the project and other micro enterprise ideas that would inspire entrepreneurs is needed.

COMMUNITY GARDEN
The idea and initiation of a community garden was started by the founder and president of RLM in 2012 in which people in the community took care of the garden and together reaped a harvest of food. The people in the village organized to weed and take care of the vegetables growing in their community garden. In 2015 the concept spread to individual families and widows planting their own personal gardens near their huts and homes.
THE NEED is to identify how to help the widows and families grow more than enough food to sell and give to help others.

GUEST HOUSE
Construction of a Guest House began in the summer of 2015 and is about half-way completed. The RLM founder and president initiated the building from her personal funds with the vision of providing free guest housing for ministers, missionaries, partners and volunteers that come to help with our projects in D.R. Congo. Since the president and founder began the project others have volunteered time, labor and dollars.
THE NEED is to identify the labor, materials and resources to complete the Guest House project.

INDIVIDUAL SPECIAL DONATIONS
These special donations from individuals have supported the purchasing of items to improve the quality of life for the orphans and villagers, such as, shoes for the orphans; Solar Lights for villagers to have outside of their huts and homes; Pipes for Water to flow down from the mountaintop (over a mile and a half) to the elementary school; the purchase of school books for the elementary children; and the purchase of a new chalk board to replace the cracked and broken one.
THE NEED continues for clean water in Ludwindja, D. R. Congo. Although a water system was completed by volunteer workers, the water still requires filtering since parasites were present in the water. Water wells with filters, located in various location of Ludwindja are greatly needed.
